Mr. Ralf Wiechmann, graduate engineer, who has been employed in the field of shipbuilding for more than 30 years, established the electrical engineering firm “Ingenieurbüro für Elektrotechnik” in February 1997 after he had worked as salaried engineer in modern yacht building for several years.

From the very beginning, cooperation with international customers, architects, designers, outfitters and suppliers represented a major part of everyday business. To Mr. Ralf Wiechmann communication and teamwork skills, commitment, flexibility, assertiveness and the ability to work under pressure are more than mere catch phrases.

Dealing with the latest computer software is essential for Mr. Wiechmann's daily project work as a professional engineer. General MS-Office applications like AutoCAD, EL-CAD, WS-CAD and SolidWorks are employed as a matter of course, and a good knowledge of spoken and written English is indispensable.
